Okay, here it is in a nutshell...
Nicholas asked how to get a domain to NOT serve webpages.
Mark suggested that if you renamed the domain's web/index.html file to
web/oldindex.html the server wouldn't serve any webpages.
Well, it won't. Instead it'll serve an index of what's on the RaQ. I
didn't think that was what he wanted, so I suggested he look at what the
results would be of doing that.
He did, and then agreed with me that his answer was not a good one.
And I figured that anyone who had been following the thread would try it
if they didn't already know what would happen. I guessed wrong, and I
forgot that most people use mail-readers that don't thread <frown>.
I have figured out a way to keep a domain from serving webpages. It
probably breaks every rule in the book, though...
I already posted it in a response.
