I have experienced problems setting up CGI scripts on my Raq3.
Specifically, I tried to set up a simple one, FormMail.cgi. I got several
different errors, the main one being a bad referrer. This script is simple,
you just modify the path to perl, path to sendmail and lastly, the referrer
line. I have used this script on several different servers (all linux) and
this is the first time I have had problems. I finally called Cobalt and
instructed them to disable cgiwrap on the server. Now I get a "Forbidden"
message on ALL scripts accept for the FormMail.cgi that they finally got to
work. Many of my sites utilize UBB and Links 2.0 and I am extremely worried
about attempting to move them to my Raq3. It could very well be that I just
don't understand CGI Wrap. From what I gather, from Cobalt Tech Support, is
that cgiwrap works automatically and that I don't need to do anything
specific. I looked at 3 or 4 different sites that have reference material
on cgiwrap and I still can't grasp it. If anybody has any insight or
suggestions, I would be very appreciative.
