The way I do it is I use a separate aliases file, at /etc/aliases.local.
See /etc/aliases for the format, and do a "grep aliases sendmail.cf" to
see how to set up a new line sendmail.cf.
Be sure to run a "newaliases" command and restart sendmail when you're
done.
