Hi list,
We are having great difficulty receiving mail messages from clients with
hotmail accounts. To the hotmail clients, the messages appear to go through
fine - but our users don't receive the emails. Emails to hotmail accounts
are fine as well as all other mail seems to come and go fine. Occaisonally
a hotmail message will make it through, but it comes in hours after it was
originally sent (if at all).
In the mail log (/var/log/maillog ) I can see entries like the following:
May 11 13:16:46 mail sendmail[1592]: NOQUEUE: Null connection from
f137.law9.hotmail.com [64.4.9.137]
This was the result of an attempt to email myself from a hotmail account.
Can anyone explain what is going on here and/or where to go from here?
(We're using the following hardware as well:
Netopia R3100 Router with firmware 4.6.3 (with NAT switched on)
128k ISDN connection
)
Thanks in advance
