here's a quick sketch ... from the http.conf file

<VirtualHost XXXX>

ServerName www.a.com
ServerAlias a.com
Redirect / http://www.abcgroup.com/a
...

There's no way to do that in DNS. However, you could create individual
domains on your raq for the 'sub-domains', then create an index.html page
which redirects them to the main domain and the sub-directory that you want.
If you set the redirect time low enough, it's almost unnoticeable.

any idea how to point a domain name at a specific directory ..

example:

www.testwork.com = index.html

www.sr-home.com SHOULD =   (testwork home
directory)/evalid/pages/sr-home/index.html

the sr-home site points at a subdirectoryof testwork.com

I have a client with 7 domain names .. they want one "top level" and the
other six to point to subdirectories of the "top level"

any ideas ??
