[cobalt-users] DHCP with Windows and Macs

I am using a Qube2, and would like to enable DHCP to enable a scope of IP's
to connect to the router, as well as the Qube2. The current machines are a
few Windows 98 machines using static IP's and connecting to the gateway for
TCP and to the Qube2 for pop mail. There are also some printers and devices
that will use static IP's for accessibility from the net.
Do I need to make a class-c subnet for the internal network?
Do I need to enable the Qube2 to be a WINS server?
Do I move the IP address of the Primary adapter of the Qube2 to the
Secondary adapter, and assign the primary adapter an IP within the same
subnet as the internal network?
Will I have to add the printers and IP devices as static IP's and enter
their MAC addresses so they are outside the DHCP scope?
I have a pool of 12 IP's, and 6 are routable. I have the DNS server
information, and have full access to the Qube2's GUI admin page.
I would appreciate any help with this project. If I wasn't specific enough,
or you need more information to help, please feel free to reply and ask.
Thanks in advance.
