[cobalt-users] User/E-mail Accounts

Hello:
The company that I work for currently hosts our website outside the company,
and has the virtual host "forward" the e-mail addresses to our Qube inside
the company. Basically, the only thing we use our Qube for is e-mail.
Well, we are in the process of having the website host change the MX records
so that e-mail will come right into the building instead of being forwarded
around. However, our e-mail addresses are first.last@xxxxxxxxxxx The problem
that I see arising is that on a Qube, user names are limited to 11
characters, which won't be enough to have the e-mail addresses that are
required.
So, is there any way for me to get around this limitation? Is there a way
that I can make my user accounts "first initial last name" (ie: eleslie) and
then make a forward file to make "first.last" go to the proper user name?
(ie: eric.leslie@xxxxxxxxxxxx -> eleslie)
Thanks for any input in this matter.
Regards,
Eric Leslie
