Greetings,

  also, i'm getting the same error if i try to run anything that has
  anything to do with the webalizer...

  ./webpng: error in loading shared libraries: libpng.so.2: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

  i DO have libpng installed:

[root@kenny gd]# updatedb
[root@kenny gd]# locate libpng.so.2
/tmp/libpng/libpng.so.2.1.0.6
/usr/local/lib/libpng.so.2.1.0.6
/usr/local/lib/libpng.so.2

  this is pretty confusing :-(
