No you do not, /etc/procmailrc is read each time mail comes in.
One warning though, if your system is already maxed out, you may not want
to add this in. It will increase load slightly if your server gets a lot
of mail.
This works great, over our 40+ server we "renamed" over 1800 infected
emails.
