[cobalt-users] Log rotation and FP password protect

2 quick ones.

1) Has anyone successfully rotated the RaQ3 logs manually?

I totally disagree with rotating them based on size. In the real world it
means we have to download a 3 or 4Mb file just to retrieve last weeks stats.
For a majority of users I feel they would want the logs to rotate each month
or better yet, give us a check box so we can decide on each site to rotate
on size or time.

2)I looked through the KB and searched the archives and think maybe this has
been answered, but couldn't find exactly what I needed. On all the other
servers we have housed our sites on we have been able to create a sub-web
(Not possible on the RaQ3 I am told) and then using the Tools|Security tab,
set up secure user lists for a password protected directory.

I have located old (Oct of 1998, I think) instructions that tell how to
manually setup a .htaccess file, but is there a way to password protect a
user directory within Frontpage. If not, I sit here shaking my head in
disbelief. There is no way my clients can setup a .htaccess file on their
own.
