Re: [cobalt-users] [RAQ3] DNS Service Slow

Here how it is setup.

webtrafix.net is a RaQ2 server named webtrafix.net. ns0.webtrafix.net is an A
record pointing to the main IP address of that server. All DNS entries have
been created using the RaQ2 GUI and it automatically puts in that
'root.webtrafix.net' where I do not know where it comes from. I want to change
the server name of that server to ns0, but do not want any disruptions in
service at the momment so I am not taking the chances now.

ns1.webtrafix.net is located on a RaQ3 server named west.webtrafix.net. Online
in the RaQ3 their is a setting to name the DNS server something else besides
what the main server name it. I have the RaQ3 setup to have itself as the
primary nameserver and the IP address of webtrafix.net as the secondary in the
Network settings.

webtrafix.net is setup as having itself as the primary in the Network settings
and our upstream provider server as the secondary in the Network settings.

Hope that makes sense. I think one of the problems lies within the RaQ2 named
something different than what we reference it as the nameserver.
