[cobalt-users] cannot change server name

I do not know how to get around this problem via GUI (or by hand!)
   on a new Raq3 that I suddenly had to setup
    I had a main site with Server Name in Gen Settings as www
    For Domain name it was mydomain.com

    I misread the help info and changed  www to www.mydomain.com (yeah stupid)
    This changed the site appearance in Virtual Site List to
    www.mydomain.com.mydomain.com (not a problem I thought, just goback and
    change the field back to www from www.mydomain.com)

    But if I click on field in Gen settings it links to Virt Site and
 then I get error message URL www.mydomain.com.mydomain.com does not exist
    Now I created another Virt site with same IP address with domain www
    but it is not the main (I also want to generate a SSL cert. and I cannot
delete the www.mydomain.com.mydomain.com one since it is main!!!
     How do I correct this?
     Additionl Info, the DNS server for this box was not setup and
     the domain name www.mydomain.com is in athore, not sure this matters
yet, but.
     I am Lost.
