The JVM is a virtual Server. Java is a language that will work on all systems.
The trick to get this effect is the VM. A Javaprogram or Applett will not
executed directly on the system, it is executed at the defined VM.
For all Systems i know a VM is developed so your Javaapplication will
run there. VM is integrated in the most Browsers. More information
you will get on http://java.sun.com
