This is off topic, but if you paid any attention to Hotmail,
you would notice that although MS purchased the site some
time ago, it still runs on FreeBSD and Solaris.  They 
attempted to move it to NT 4.0 but that experiment failed 
miserably.

Like most M$ products, someone else had to make it work 
before Bill came along and said 'Mine!' ;-)
