OK I think I got it But created a new Problem.
hehehehehe.
Ok I can Finally get to the Raq by NAME. But now when I hit it using
www.webspyder.com the dns host name changes to the network host name, or
what I call the netbios name of ws-raq-01. This is the Interface Host name
in the RAQ Network panel. I have 2 a records for the Raq
a www.webspyder.com 192.168.100.5
a ws-raq-01.webspyder.com 192.168.100.5
and a reverse for the domain
webspyder.com - 192.168.100.5/24
192.168.100.5/24 websoyder.com
What is going on. I can resolve a virtual domain with no problems having
major problems with the Raq's Main site. Which is where I would like my WWW
Site to be.

Exactly as shown? Where?
An excerpt from the records file looks like this:
[admin named]$ cat records
a www nobaloney.net 123.123.123.1 24
mx - nobaloney.net High nobaloney.net
a - nobaloney.net 123.123.123.1 24
ptr www nobaloney.net 123.123.123.1 24
[admin named]$
An excerpt from a zone file looks like this:
www.nobaloney.net. in a 123.123.123.1
nobaloney.net. in mx 30 nobaloney.net.
nobaloney.net. in a 123.123.123.1
Neither looks like your example, which is:
> A record webspyder.com - xxx.xxx.xxx.5
> reverse lookup xxx.xxx.xxx.5 - webspyder.com
> A record ws-raq-01.webspyder.com - xxx.xxx.xxx.5
> reverse lookup xxx.xxx.xxx.5 - ws-raq-01.webspyder.com
> Cname record www - ws-raq-01.webspyder.com
So what do you mean when you say "Exactly as shown"?
If you typed in exactly what you've shown anywhere, then where? It's
possible I suppose, that the original RaQ works like that; my RaQ2 and
RaQ3i don't.
(note that the final periods on the domain names were NOT typed into the
Cobalt RaQ2 gui interface, updating the dns from the gui interface
automatically puts them into the zone file.
