[cobalt-users] Background question: Warning: site admin lists are out of sync. Fixing..

Hello all,

since today I get the error

    Warning: site admin lists are out of sync. Fixing...

I HAVE ALREDY FOUND OUT in the kb how to solve it (by commenting the lines
that produce the error). What interests me is what exactly produces this
error and if there is a better solution than just deactivating the check.

Does anybody know more about the interna of the problem?
