[cobalt-users] admin/root password concern

After reading all the messages regarding the security
of the
admin and root password being identical got me
thinking
of the security concerns of using FTP as the RAQ
admin.
I regularly FTP all my different domain changes
through
FTP as the RAQ admin not the site admin. This RAQ is
used only
for hosting sites there are no Site admins or users on
the RAQ and no access
other than the RAQ admin. Would it be wiser to set up
a site admin
for each domain and FTP the files through the site
admin rather than
as a the RAQ admin? Is using FTP as the RAQ admin with
the same
password as the root a major security concern?
Does anybody have a definitive answer as to whether
having a different root passwd from the admin
will have an adverse effect on the GUI interface?
And if so what would it be? And my final question
would being able to use a unique user name on the RAQ
admin offer
a bit more security? After all it is not to hard to
figure out the user name
(admin) of anyone using a RAQ! Why can not the user
name be changed?
Is this due to the GUI as well?

Thanks
