if you can add an additional hdd, you can put the /home dir on its own 
partition/drive.. this is what i had to do with a regular linux box i 'toy' 
with for the packages i want to install and test for the raq. if you are 
keeping user mail files and web files in home then it should free quite a 
bit and is easy to do:)
if you want to go that route and need assistance, i can give you step by 
step directions.. should work fine first try:)
