I didn't add any. My host just gave me the list of IP's I could use.
Wherever the GUI asks for an IP, I put in one of the ones I was given,
depending on which IP I want to use.

yes, it's a way of setting up "alias" ip addresses, connected to "virtual" interfaces called eth0:1, eth0:2 and so on, each connected to another ip address. you can't configure this through the gui, however, it is not needed because the cobalt adds them dynamically if you add a site that uses another ip.

keep in mind that these virtual interfaces are _not_ available without creating a site that uses this ip! e.g. if you don't create a site using ip 1.2.3.4 you can't ping 1.2.3.4 (even not if it is routed to the raq) cause the virtual interface isn't created yet, so the raq doesn't recognize it.
