Those messages appear in the maillogs of all my RaQ3i
boxen as well, but sendmail works fine. I suspect that
the "NOQUEUE: Null connection" is a test performed by
the Active Monitor to ensure Sendmail is running on your
RaQ. As for the IMAP errors you've got me. I disabled
IMAPD and the Active Monitor had a fit, so I re-enabled
it and left well-enough alone for now. If anyone has
researched this at all, I'd be anxious to hear what
conclusions they have come to.
To test your Sendmail, do a ps aux | grep sendmail.
You should see "Sendmail accepting connections". If you
see that, then do:
echo testing | mail -s test some.address@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Then do a tail -f /var/log/maillog to see if the message
was processed. If those tests run successfully, Sendmail
is sending just fine, so receiving mail is your trouble.
Check your virtusertable and sendmail.cw and ensure your
entries are correct and complete.
Thanks.
