[cobalt-users] RE: [Cobalt] publish forms to an httpd directory on a RaQ2

actually no you can't change users in an ftp session and unfotunately you don't have ftp access as root user.
Try creating a user for the domain with Site Admin persions and using that username to ftp to the /web directory of the home site you want to access.
Alternatively you can ftp to a location that you do have rights to and then telnet into the machine and su to root and then copy the files to the location where you want them to be .

Let me know how you go ..
Good luck

Subject: [Cobalt] publish forms to an httpd directory on a RaQ2

Hi everyone,

I desperately need an answer to this one:

I have recently installed Cobalt SSL (mod_ssl) to my RaQ2 and need to call secure order forms.  I know I have to publish them to the httpd/html directory but everytime I attempt to ftp files there...I get an error message stating I do not have permissions.  What user has rights to write to that directory?  Admin does not seem to.  Once I connect to the RaQ2 via ftp, is it possible to log on as a differant user or change directories?

Thanks,
