I think I understand the problem. I've set up some sample certificates for
our sites. I got the instructions for the setup from the cobalt
knowledgebase

I'l point out that it'd be a good idea to go through the ssl.conf (that's 
not the actual name.. somethign like httpds-ssl.conf) file and uncomment
the portion about cgi so that you can do cig through your ssl... afterall,
that's what it's for, yes?
