Which is why when I start lists I always start them up in "waiting"
mode; each person who signs up gets first a double-opt-in notice, then
a notice that says we're waiting until we have enough members to start
the posts. Then, after I've got about 25 or so members, I start the
list with an announcement post.

I'll be much more interested when you have searchable archives; I'm sure
you've seen me post previously that I prefer to respond on lists
because that way the most people possible can get the benefit of the
necessary research.

I look forward to a healthy Cobalt community; as you know, I benefit
from that, as we all do.

Are you going to set up searchable archives?
