It's all relative to what you're selling. Since they have their own gateway
there's no $10 authorize.net charge.
When we had a standard retail swiper terminal the lease was costing us $53 a
month.
Quickcommerce charges $43 a month for their virtual terminal lease plus a
$10 a month charge for the authorize.net gateway.
EMS's discount rate is higher by .50% but that could probably be negotiated.
EMS is actually $39.90 for the lease plus a $10 merchant services fee.

If you do $5000.00 a month on say a 100 transactions you'll pay:

$125 Discount fee @ 2.5
$30  Transaction fees
$49.90 Terminal lease

for a total of $204.90, a little more than 4% of gross. For the lack of
approval hassles and the ability to do
live transactions I think that's an acceptable cost.

A side benefit is that offer a $300 affiliate commission.
