I was thinking how I could word this diplomatically.

But that's not my style.

I studied psychology before I joined the Airforce, How I managed to get a
degree and fly a plane beats me, but it was easier than being on a user
group list.

Anyway, here is my diplomatic response to your post.


Don't be an ass.. I wanted to put Don't be a Prat .. But I am not sure you
Americans would understand that. 

If you let a few vocal (small minority) people sway your judgement .. Then
the line above applies.

Most of us sitting on the sidelines, either don't have time or are too lazy
to do much and are just hoping that you people make it esy for us and just
fix this and make it work so that we are not affected.

Most of us like easy options.

There are some that make their living from selling their cobalt knowledge
that are scared perhaps that you are perhaps getting ahead of them and may
get a few extra customers.

Aint life tough.. If you are doing the work and if you took the initiative,
then good luck to you.

Just carry on and get this thing working with Bruce and whomever and take no
notice of the other people.

If they don't want to join and be a part of it .. That's there problem.

Now being frank .. Zeffie .. I have supported you in the past and stood up
for you when I think you were being wronged.

It is now time .. You shut the fuck up and either work with Jeff and Bruce
or quit .. 

If at anytime anyone starts compomising the list with advertising or spam ..
You can rest assured .. There will be people like me who will flame them to
death. ( I may even Dos their server depending on how much whisky I have
drunk)

The bottom line is kids ... Quit fighting and lets work together and make
this happen.. 

Our enemy as I see it is Sun .. And not each other.

Bruce who has taken the part of list manager, in my opinion is honourable
and trustworthy (even tho he is ex Navy)
And I am confident that he will be fair and reasonable as he has proved in
the past.

Lets support this and move forward and make this work for all us lazy
peoples sake.

Jeff and Zeffie .. If you were my kids .. You are grounded until you shake
hands and share your toys.

In the meantime Jeff .. Your punishment is to carry on and make this work..
Zeffie .. Be nice to Bruce and Jeff and work with them and be part of this
.. 

Having been in the Gulf and seeing what is happening there now, a cobalt
users list is not something to fight about.We have greater battles and
bigger enemies ahead of us .. So lets play nice and be friends .. OK ?? 

Finally anyone who disagrees with my sentiments ..
