I think I might disagree and suggest your would be better off putting a
little time into the config...
if you edit your /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf and add something like
use_bayes 1
auto_learn 1
bayes_path /home/spamdb/bayes
bayes_file_mode 0777
auto_learn_threshold_spam 12.00
auto_learn_threshold_nonspam 1.00
Then make that directory /home/spamdb
