RE: [cobalt-users] Raq2: DNS question
Looks like everything is ok.
You might want to go into the GUI and change the TTL (time to live) to a
lower setting so when your ISP updates their DNS it will pick up the new
address.
Everything should be fine by tomorrow.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Raq2: DNS question
Never had this happen before:
1. Setup new domain through GUI
2. Entered primary DNS record through GUI
3. Entered WRONG IP address.
4. Corrected it 5 minutes later.
My DLS provider's DNS cached the first incorrect IP:

Recursion Desired=Yes, Recursion Available=Yes

correct:

The problem is it won't resolve in a browser:
There was a communication problem.
Message ID TCP_ERROR
Problem Description The system was unable to communicate with the server.
Possible Problem Cause
The Web server may be down.
The Web server may be too busy.
The Web server may be experiencing other problems, preventing it from
responding to clients.
The communication path may be experiencing problems.
Possible Solution
Try connecting to this server later.
All other sites are fine. Any ideas?
Tony
