Let's start by saying that the Celeron wasn't designed to be used in a
server. It doesn't have enough cache memory to work well in a
multi-threaded, multi-tasking environment.

Only you know if the hard disk size is important. The combination of
smaller cache size and less memory will definitely result in a
performance hit, though.

I hate it when my vendors try to lock me into model numbers where I
can't decide what I want to buy based on my needs, but must buy
according to their marketing plans.

That's why I buy from Terian Solutions in Houston, Texas. They're an
Intel Systems Builder, and they offer excellent solutions. Call or
write me offlist if you'd like a salesrep recommendation.

if you could just email me the details to this address, I'd like to talk to them

We spend roughly twice your $755 price on our hosting servers, and we're
very happy with what we get.

I'll spend what it takes, but we only host a thousand or so domains, the need for a monster server isn't here yet, we plan on using two identical servers for spam/anti-virus, which will front up the final destination servers - these will only be pass-through, but will need to hand the load of about 10 raq's email.
