We used to use UltimateBB for our site, and then when it started to ramp up
traffic moved to Vb, which is probably the best and most up-to-date system
that is out there.

There's a LARGE community over there - he could do much worse than to have a
look - there's a chance something like this might have already been
designed....

No reason to run, regardless of Rodolfo.

Perhaps what's needed, and Bruce Timberlake is reviewing existing
software to accomplist the task, is a method of melding both a mailing list
and forum together to allow folks who have preferences read and post in a
format that is most familiar to them.

I'll let ya know what we discover...
