Thom, my motives are actually a lot simpler than you'd think, but before 
I reply, I need to point out that I haven't revisited the thread ssince 
my post; yours is the first post which I'm reading and to which I'm 
replying.

My interest is NOT and has NOT been in creating a new list.  My interest 
is in making sure cobalt-users and cobalt-developers (and perhaps some 
of the other Cobalt lists as well) get properly moved to another server 
before they disappear for good.

I have no other motivation.  Perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough; 
for that I apologize.
