Seems to me I've heard of this problem before; a quick search finds similar
questions from RaQ 3 users a while ago. No apparent answers in the archives
though...
Do you have hotmail.com in your /etc/mail/access file as a blocked domain?
Entries in there are blocked from outgoing mail as well as incoming...
openwebmail might work because (I think) it sends mail itself and doesn't
rely on sendmail...?
What does /var/log/maillog show when someone tries to send mail to a
Hotmail
user? That might help narrow it down quite a bit.
