Hi list,
Wondering if someone can shed some light on the proper
ownership/permissions of the /home/sites/ folder?
Lots of posts to the list on the site sub-dirs, but I think
our issue is with /home/sites/, which isn't widely stated.
Our 'Admin' user can browse into folders, but is denied
when attempting to update a site's /web/ directory through
SCP.
[admin sites]# ls -la /home/sites/
drwxr-xr-x 36 root root 2048 Apr 27 09:22 .
drwxr-xr-x 16 root root 1024 Apr 17 2003 ..
<snipped>
[admin sites]# ls -la site33
total 6
drwxrwsr-x 5 nobody site33 1024 Apr 27 09:22 .
drwxr-xr-x 36 root root 2048 Apr 27 09:22 ..
drwxr-s--- 2 nobody site33 1024 Apr 27 09:22

As for an explanation, our sites got deleted through the
'double-click' bug in the interface, and were rebuilt
manually by root before we knew of the 'fixsite.pl' script.
Could I even run the script and expect it to magically
resolve the issue?
Many thanks in advance,
Chris
