You should always be able to assign an alias of 'manager' to any single
user in any/all virtual domains on the server. You just can't use
'manager' as the login name for any user.
Entries in /etc/mail/virtusertable take care of 'rewriting' mail to
'manager@xxxxxxxxxxx' to 'realname@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
The user will always need to set up their mail client to use the actual
login name to get their mail. But the client can also be configured, via
the "reply-to" etc fields, to appear to be sent from
'manager@xxxxxxxxxxx' so once they make the initial setup, they never
have to think about the fact they are *actually* receiving their email
udner a different alias.
