Hi,

I am using f-prot with mailscanner on my RAQ 4 with good results..

f-prot is free of charge for the command line linux version.

Follow the supplied recipe for Cobalt Raq and installation is trivial.

You can also use clamAV but you will need to upgrade your perl version
(which possibly will break other things, including the UI, if you're not
careful).

IIRC, F-Prot is free for personal use only. For commercial use, their license requires you to buy the mail scanning version even though the command line version is all you need for MailScanner to work.*** MailScanner supports 13 or 14 different anti-virus programs, so you have plenty of alternatives from companies that want your business.

We use ClamAV but have not upgraded Perl. We use the command line version of Clam; I believe you only need an updated Perl to use Mail::ClamAV.
