It's pretty clear that your post is in reply to his.
How did you begin your new thread?
Note that you cannot begin a new thread by using "Reply" and then
deleting the content.
You must start by sending a new message to start a new thread.
To compound the issue, Outlook (according to the headers in your posts,
you're probably using Microsoft Office Outlook, Build 11.0.5510)
doesn't thread properly, but just groups emails by subject and calls
them threads, so you probably don't see what most truly threaded email
users see.
