Rick you need to go into you PC's bios and set the boot order so that
it tries to boot from CD first. The CD SHOULD boot and runs linux
from the CD.

Did you burn the CD from an ISO? If so what program did you use to 
o this as some programs don't burn it as a "joules"(i think) Which
is a bootable CD. 

BTW you can restore your raq3 to a 550, it has a much better and more
friendly GUI.
