Did you try resetting the cmos ?
Hold "E" and start up the server. Wait until cmos restored (or something)
displays, then power off , power on.
I had a kernel panic when I restored on a raq4 and that fixed it.

Hi,
I got brave yesturday flashed my rom and restored my raq3 (which had already
been upgraded to raq4) to raq550.

When i flashed the rom (upgraded to 2.9.34) it went ok, but when i rebooted
i got kernel panic. however i could
 boot form disk still

I restored to 550 and everything went well. Except when i rebooted the LCD
kept saying "setting up web service"
I rebooted again and this went away. But i now get "MFG HOOK FAILED" O and i
cannot boot from ROM it just just
does the bit with the circle with two lines and the lil block going to and
fro across the bottom of the LCD for
ever.

I have read that this is probably a restore error but i have also read that
if i flash the rom to 2.9.36 it
should solve the problem.

Please could you advise me on the best way out of this one.
