Postfix, Sendmail, Qmail, Exim (our choice) are all MTAs (Mail Transport
Agents); none of them manage mailboxes or mail storage.
Any of them will work with maildir format, though in general I see it
mostly on Qmail installations.
I don't see how to do it on a RaQ, though; the RaQ is designed as an
all-in-one hosting environment for lots of small websites with small
email needs.
