You are now under GUI: Contol Panel/Domain Name System Parameres for the
domain.com:
When creating MX records make:
1. High Priority MX record (low numbered):
domain.com Pointing to your Client Mail Server Hostname, eg.
domain.com --------> RemoteClientMailServer.com
If they do not have a hostname for thier name server but an IP address then:
Make an A record pointing mail1domain.com to thier IP address
then Make MX record pointing to the A record mail1.domain.com
2. Make Low Priority MX record (high numbered):
domain.com ----> mail2.domain.com which is an A record pointing to the IP of
the domain
at your server.
BTW the MX priorities in Cobalt GUI are:
20 .. (Very-High priority)
30 .. (High priority)
40 .. (Low priority)
50 .. (Very-Low priority)
