I just erased mine with Western Digital tools and that worked fine. I think
they throw tantrums with NTFS partitions. Mine just didn’t work. Also look
at your jumpers, In WD hard disk you need to have the disk set to PARK,
Master ( with no slave ) does not work.

Hi
I got a raq4 off a friend but it didn't have any drives in it. I have tried
the restore with to new drives but it isn't restoring, do the drives need to
be in a certain format first ?
Thanks
Phil
