I'm ready to migrate from a Qube 2 to a Qube 3 (RAID) and have downloaded,
but not installed, the Cobalt Migration Tool. I've reviewed as much
information I could find and still have several key questions.
1. Should the Migration Utility be installed on BOTH Qubes (2 and 3)? Or, if
only one, which one?
2. If I have only a simple Web site of several non-interactive pages and
only one active and several more inactive e-mail accounts, why not forgo any
migration and simply take the Qube 2 off line and reconfigure the Qube 3
with the correct WAN IP address? Will anything be lost? Would e-mail lose
connections? I assume the Web site could be moved by FTP from the LAN side,
can the mail boxes also be moved without damage? Do they even need to be
moved if the box is up-to-date and all msg are read?
