It's fine using usergroup spirit in some situations. If you're working with
a live production server that you're taking other people's money to host on
then it's a different story. "Sorry Mr Customer, I've just broken the
server. Would you mind waiting while I post into a usergroup in the hope
that someone might help me fix it" is probably not going to cut any ice.
This is a fantastic group and I'm always grateful for the information I get
but there are occasions when you just HAVE to bite the bullet and pay for
support.
Just my 2p worth of course.
