Hi,
Do need some help.
I have a Cobalt Raq4R . Two day ago I was notify I need to change the drive
on the right side facing the front panel.
I took one drive on my spare Raq4R identical to the failling one , same
type Seagate ST340810A .
I deleted all the partitions and added it to the Raq4 to make sure it will
sync the right way .
It rebuild all the partition except the swap space /dev/md6 and it is
telling me I have now to replace the left disk.
[root init.d]# cd /proc
[root /proc]# cat mdstat
Personalities : [linear] [raid0] [raid1] [raid5] [translucent]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md1 : active raid1 hda1[0] hdc1[1] 768000 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md3 : active raid1 hda3[0] hdc3[1] 205056 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md4 : active raid1 hda4[0] hdc4[1] 37947072 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md6 : active raid1 hda6[2] hdc6[1](F) 131456 blocks [2/1] [_U]
It will not reboot with those two disk on.
So I removed the left disk but it is just keep rebooting with the new sync
disk .
At last I put only the left disk , the one I have to start with and I was
able to reboot.
Now how can I get the second drive on ?
Thanks diane
