Easier said than done.
I downloaded sendmail 8.12 and cyrus SASL 2.
When Installed SASL, it complained of a missing library for MD5 (des.h).
When I install sendmail using the build script, it gives me the following
warning: " make[1]: *** Warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be
incomplete. ".
And when I run it to test it out, I still get the old version !
"[root sendmail-8.12.11]# telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 localhost ESMTP Sendmail 8.10.2/8.10.2; Wed, 31 Mar 2004 13:41:49 +0100
"
And another point.. Is there a custom site.config.m4 you need to use?
