Hi Glen,

I searched my access logs for 408's but luckily there were none.  :o)

Good! Because all I have seen (related-research) is that Apache may have a bug related to 408 errors and does not deal well with them or errant CGI programs might be the problem; but not in my case. I do not know what is generating them on my site.
