if the mail was sent through your server, then it must be in the logs.

Betreff: [cobalt-users] [RaQ4] Weird email problem
one of my clients is claiming that some emails are taking a day to arrive!
they sent an email at 11am yesterday and apparently it arrived at 11am this
morning. i have checked the logs but cannot find an email from my client to
the person in question at either of these times.
i have checked /home/sites/www.theirdomain.com/logs/mail.log and
/var/log/maillog and /var/log/maillog.1. is there something i'm missing? any
way i can find out when the mail actually went? i'm pretty sure it was not a
problem at our end but i need to be able to say for sure...
