Yes, but doing this you'll loose GUI, which is the last thing you'd want 
to loose. 

We're running APT software repository at cobaltsupport.com , which 
allows to upgrade most critical software on RAQ4s automatically. 

This way you get all updated, security fixes and many new nice packages, 
which are normally rather expensive in online stores.
