Hm. I'm sure it can be done, but the 4i OSRCD does not set
 up the RAID config
stuff by default. You'd have to manually configure it all,
 and I'm not sure
I've seen a howto on that procedure. I would think if you
 could find a
generic "adding RAID" procedure and modify it according to the RaQ's
partition scheme, it should work. But having never done it,
 I have no idea
 what would be involved.

The few times I've had to do it, I just restored the RaQ with a 4r CD.

I have done it before, but never noted the steps. Basicaly i created the
partitions and dumped a config file in from a machine that already had raid.
Upon reboot the rebuild started. I have 3 raid kits coming in from gerard
soon to upgrade some machines, i'll post a step by step by then.

I would appreciate a step-by-step guide when you have the chance. I'm living dangerously right now with a single drive and would love to add RAID 1 capability to my RAQ4i.

Looks like I'll be ordering a raid kit soon!!

Regards,
