Hey there:
So, I'm looking at different alternatives for backing up my XTR. I'd prefer
to have something semi-automated, but I'd like to explore options and
suggestions. I have a partial manual which touches on it, but I'd like to
research the options more deeply. Does anyone have any good research
resources for someone in my position to read up on the alternatives and
exactly how to configure it?
Immediately, I'm looking for a solution that will automatically back the
data up in preparation for any unforeseen crash, etc. But ultimately, I'd
like to take a second server and literally have the main server mirror to
the backup server maybe once a night--so if the main server goes down (and
isn't coming back up), I can quickly switch over to the backup server.
Any links, thoughts, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
TIA....
Barnaby
