Hi all
Hopefully a quickie.
Customer has a MS server with fixed IP and wants to handle mail.
I assume I set up mx records as normal and then have an a record of
mail.whatever.com > their.static.ip.address?
Also, in the site settings, will I need to delete the e-mail server alias?
they need a mail server running on their MS server
you need an A record for their server to receive the mail at,
ie mail.example.com >> their.static.ip.address
you then use the mx record of mail.example.com >> mail.example.com
